MASS
MASSMareArts ANPR SDK Server. The MareArts ANPR engine as a desktop app: read plates from images and folders, keep a history and a watchlist, and serve the REST API to your own software, on your own computer, with no Python setup.
MASS is in beta testing. Downloads are open to beta testers only for now. After the beta it comes with every MareArts ANPR subscription.
MASS runs the same engine and dashboard as ma-anpr server in the Python SDK, packaged with everything it needs. One MareArts ANPR license covers both.

One installer per system

All files are on the download page, after you sign in to marearts.com. Five downloads a day per account; updating an installed copy does not count.
Sign in
Once, then it reads plates
- Open MASS and go to System → Account.
- Sign in with your e-mail and the 16-character signature from your My licenses page.
- The models download once (about 600 MB). Plate reading starts when they are in place.
On a computer that stays offline, enter your MAEV3 licence key in the same panel instead of signing in.
The key is kept on this computer only and is not shown again in the window. Sign out removes it.

REST API
Your software calls the same engine
While MASS is open, its engine answers on this computer (127.0.0.1), port 8000 unless something else holds it. The endpoints are the SDK server's.

If ma-anpr server is already running on port 8000, MASS shows that engine and leaves it running when the window closes. An engine MASS started stops with the window.
